Surfmeter Dashboard¶

Use the Surfmeter Dashboard to inspect measurements, manage clients and their configurations, and review service and client health.

Accessing the Dashboard¶

Your Surfmeter Dashboard is hosted at a URL provided by your organization or by AVEQ. Open it in any modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari). The Dashboard is responsive, so you can use it on desktops, tablets, and smartphones.

Main sections¶

After logging in, you will find the following sections in the sidebar:

• Home – A dashboard with an overview of recent measurement activity.
• Surfmeter AI – An optional chat-based assistant that answers questions about your data. See AI Assistant.
• Measurements Explorer – Browse and filter measurements by type (video, web, network, speedtest, conferencing), view KPI charts, inspect individual results, and show measurements and KPI heatmaps on a map.
• CDN Performance – Compare the content delivery networks serving your video and web measurements.
• Studies – Browse the studies that your measurements belong to.
• Reports – Review aborted measurements and anomalies.
• ISPs – Browse the Internet Service Providers attributed to your measurements and used in client contracts.
• Clients – Manage clients, create new ones, organize them into groups, assign tags, and review fleet health.
• Client Configuration – Create studies, measurement configs, schedules, and service logins.
• APIs and Keys – Manage Surfmeter, Player SDK, and Export API keys, registration keys, capabilities, and webhooks.
• Admin – Review license and AI usage, manage users, and change organization settings. The items shown depend on your role.
• Settings – Change your display and notification preferences.

Sidebar sections start collapsed. The section that contains the current page stays open.

What's New¶

After a dashboard update, a What's New window lists the main changes since your last visit. You can open it again from the user menu, or turn it off under Settings. For the full list of changes, see the changelog.
