Player SDK API Keys

Player SDK API keys authorize the Surfmeter Player SDK to submit playback measurements from end-user devices on iOS, Android, or the web.

Key list

The page shows all Player SDK API keys with their status. You can toggle between showing all keys or hiding expired ones.

Creating a key

Users with permission can create a new key, optionally giving it a name and an expiry date. After creation, the key value is displayed once and should be copied and stored securely.

Getting started

The page includes a "Getting Started" card with minimal code examples for initializing the SDK on iOS, Android, and the web, with your key filled in. See the Player SDK documentation for full integration details.

Deleting a key

You can delete a key from the list. A confirmation dialog prevents accidental deletion. After deletion, any application using that key will no longer be able to submit playback measurements.
