Studies

The Studies page lets you browse all studies extracted from your measurement data. A study represents a defined measurement task – for background on the relationship between studies and measurements, see Concepts.

Note

This page is still a work in progress. We are actively developing the study management features, so expect more functionality to be added in the future.

Browsing studies

The studies list can be filtered by:

  • Study type (video, web, …)
  • Study subject (e.g., youtube, netflix, …)
  • Study description ID (what you set in the id field when creating a study description)
  • Client label
  • Client UUID

For fields with many possible values, start typing to search.

Study details

Click on a study to open its detail page. This shows:

  • Timestamps (started, finished, aborted if applicable).
  • The client that performed the study.
  • Notes and metadata.
  • The run options and study description as structured data.
  • A table of all measurements belonging to this study. Note that a video study may contain a web measurement, too, if the video was played in a browser. The table shows the measurement type for each measurement, so you can easily distinguish them.

From here you can navigate to individual measurement detail pages or to the client detail page.
