License Usage

The License Usage page shows how your Surfmeter software licenses are being utilized over time.

Client usage

A table breaks down usage by month, showing:

  • The number of active clients (unique clients that submitted measurements).
  • The distribution of measurement subjects across those clients (when the Extended mode is enabled).
  • Total license units consumed (available in Extended mode).

You can adjust the time range to view different periods. Hovering over the subject distribution reveals a detailed breakdown.

Summary cards show totals and averages across the selected range.

Note

License calculation may be slow for long time ranges or large datasets. We're working on improvements in future releases.

AI usage

If the AI assistant is enabled for your organization, an additional card shows the current month's AI usage:

  • The percentage of the monthly limit consumed, shown as a progress bar.
  • The number of AI requests and conversations.

When the limit is reached, the AI assistant becomes temporarily unavailable.
