Capabilities

Capabilities define what measurement types and subjects a client is allowed to perform. They are assigned to clients through registration keys.

Capability list

The Capabilities page shows all defined capabilities. Administrators can create new ones or delete existing ones.

Capability details

Click on a capability to view and edit it. The detail page shows:

• The capability name and an optional comment.
• The list of allowed measurement types (e.g., video, web, network). Types not in this list are forbidden.
• The list of allowed measurement subjects within each type. Subjects not in this list are forbidden.
• A list of registration keys that reference this capability.

Editing a capability

You can toggle measurement types on and off by clicking them. For each allowed type, you can further configure which subjects are permitted. Changes take effect for all registration keys using this capability.
