Surfmeter API Keys

Surfmeter API keys provide access to the Surfmeter API for programmatic interaction with Surfmeter resources.

Key list

The page shows all API keys with their status. You can toggle between showing all keys or hiding expired ones. Administrators can also view, but not delete, API keys created by other users. This allows admins to audit API key usage without compromising security.

Creating a key

Any user can create new API keys. After creation, the key value is displayed once and should be copied and stored securely.

Deleting a key

You can delete an API key from the list. A confirmation dialog prevents accidental deletion. After deletion, any applications using that key will no longer be able to access the API.
